NOTE: Due to the unavailability of the speaker, this talk has been CANCELLED.

Emmy nominated executive producer & director Domini Hofmann has spent more than a decade deciphering the stories of people, families, businesses and most recently, spies, and turning them into compelling television. Specializing in serial documentary television, she has helmed notable shows like AMC’s “The Pitch”, “True Life” for MTV, “Consumed” for CNBC, and, most recently, 3 seasons of “Declassified: Untold Stories of American Spies” for CNN.

Domini considers it both a privilege and a responsibility to bring people’s lives, work, and stories to the screen, and she does so with the highest level of enthusiasm and integrity. Domini will discuss how she got into the business, how she came to direct the Declassified series, what she’s learned about the American intelligence machine, and the importance of sharing the stories of the intelligence community with the public. The tug of war between keeping things secret and informing the public about what’s being done to keep us safe, is a delicate balance when turning these stories into a television series.
