As a member-driven organization, AIA relies on the active involvement of volunteers to manage our innovative and diverse programs. Volunteering with AIA is a rewarding experience. Some activities require just a small time commitment, while others take more time but return greater rewards.
We are currently in need of help in the following areas:
Audio-Visual Set Up – Help set-up laptop and projector for our lectures at both UNM Continuing Education and ABQ Museum. Prior experience is helpful but not necessary, as training is available. Must be available to set up one hour prior to lectures.
Development– Solicit major gifts and/or business sponsorships. Prior fundraising or sales experience is highly desirable. Must be comfortable to work independently and arrange in-person meetings.
Membership – Help with membership renewal (mailings, follow-up phone calls) and new member development (host meet and greet events, welcome outreach to new members)
Annual Gala – Assist with event planning, securing silent auction donations, silent auction logistics and payments, and greeting and checking-in guests.
