AIA’s popular International Bazaar and Potluck is back for 2026! This annual event is always a great way to get to know other AIA members, share and sample international foods from around the world, and shop at our International Bazaar!
Potluck
Attendees are asked to bring an appetizer, salad, dessert, or entree (with a serving utensil). It can be your favorite international or American dish.
International Bazaar
This year’s bazaar will be a fun shopping experience featuring The Next Best Thing to Being There, an extraordinary local shop that sells treasures from around the world. Visit their website to learn more: https://www.beingthereabq.com/.
Music
Attendees this year will once again have the pleasure of enjoying music by multi-instrumentalist Casey Mraz playing a sampling of tunes from Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Ireland, Cuba, Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and France.
This is a free event for members only, but RSVPs are necessary and must be made by August 20. To attend, please RSVP by e-mailing us at info@abqinternational.org with your name, the dish you plan to bring, and the names of people attending. We will e-mail attendees the address and directions.
All proceeds from the bazaar will support the AIA’s mission to create vibrant programs relating to international culture, art, global history, and foreign affairs.
